When considering an automatic pool cover for a new or existing pool there are many options available. There is the standard under track, which is used with pools that are built for a pool cover and are normally rectangular in shape. For some of these pools, the cover can be made to completely retract underneath the coping. There is also a top track option for pools that have already been built.
For years track options were limited to one style but today there are more custom alternatives. For example, we are able to install a receiver into the pool that holds our track and avoids the need for drilling directly into the underside of the coping. The receiver, called retainer, reduces track maintenance and prevents tracks from pulling out over time due to normal use. Our top track options have also improved. Now, we can provide a flush mount option, which looks great and sits level with the deck. Some customers even like us to powder coat the tracks to match the pool better for a more custom appearance.
When you have an existing pool and the pool cover mechanism is installed on top of the deck, it is important to conceal the pool cover mechanism. Many customers, for pools like these, have us build a bench to cover the mechanism that both looks great and hides the pool cover when it is retracted off the pool.
